Andrew Georgitsis

Andrew Georgitsis began diving in 1986 and has become a dive industry
leader in education and exploration, in addition to being an avid
wreck, cave and technical diver. Currently he is the Technical
Training Director for Global Underwater Explorers, as well as the
CEO of 5thD-X International. His teaching and exploration
have taken him, literally, around the world. His many destinations
include the ancient city of Qual Hat in Oman, the Britannic in Greece,
the beautiful caves around Akumal, Mexico, not to mention the numerous
cold water wrecks in the Northwest, Great Lakes, and the Baltic
Sea. Andrew's passion is the documentation of these extraordinary
places with his video and still photography. His system includes
a TRV900 with both a Light & Motion Stringray housing as well as
an Extreme Exposure housing with dual 250W HID video lights. His
camera is the new Nikon D100 digital SLR with the Light & Motion
Titan housing, dual Sea&Sea YS90X strobes, Ikelite 400W slaves,
and the dome port for his 16mm Fisheye lens and 12-24mm lens. Now
many more people can enjoy Andrew's adventures…and see why he loves
the big blue..
